FBAA alliance gives brokers better phone services and rebate

Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) members can improve their communications and get a rebate on their phone account equivalent to 20 per cent of their annual FBAA membership fee, thanks to a new alliance between the association and a telecommunications company.
The deal is being offered to FBAA members who switch from their current telecommunications provider to MOVOX.
While MOVOX offers traditional landlines and other products, their core business is voice over internet (VoIP), including Virtual PBX and Mobile VoIP solutions.
“By using MOVOX’s technology, our customers are improving business productivity and saving up to 50 per cent on their call costs alone,” says MOVOX CEO Rohan Doyle.
“Every call within the virtual PBX is free, and if you’ve got a mobile sales team, they can call head office and vice-versa for free from anywhere in the world using a mobile app."
MOVOX revealed that an FBAA member recently analysed had 10 separate land lines. “Our technology would make all but one of them redundant, saving the member hundreds of dollars in line rentals.
“Among the productivity features of the virtual PBX is a voicemail-to-email capability and an automated menu that directs calls to the right office, department or person, saving a person having to do it.
FBAA CEO Peter White says the alliance with MOVOX is yet another example of the practical benefits enjoyed by members.
“Members can take advantage of a free telephone bill analysis by MOVOX to see where savings and productivity improvements can be made,” Mr White says.
“If you’re spending hundreds of dollars a month using outdated technology, it might pay you to get MOVOX to run their eye over your telephone bill.”
